Sign up for Target Debit card. This card comes directly out of checking account, so it is not a credit card. Just go to the customer service at Target with a blank check, you will also need your ID. They can do it in the checkstands too, but it is annoying for those who are behind you. The associate will assist you in setting up the debit card. When it is set up, you will receive a special receipt that will act as a temporary card until your permanent card in the mail, within a week. This way you can use your card immediately. Then every time you make a purchase with your debit card you will receive an additional 5% off of the entire purchase. Just another way to save more money.
